Bitter Taste?

I've had my Personal Keurig maker for one year with absolute no problems. The past week however, I've been noticing a more bitter taste with my usual k-cups. I always use filtered water from my refrigerator, so I haven't done the dreaded vinegar de-scaling thing. I figured I wouldn't have to because I used the filtered water.

Could this be the problem with the sudden bitter taste? Any ideas?
