"At the end of the day" I listen to a lot of news and this is so overused when it doesn't need to be said at all. I once counted someone used it 5 times in their short 4-5 minute segment.

"Literally" Some people overuse this word. I don't think they know the meaning. I was listening to Andrew Lessman over the weekend and he overuses and misuses the word. Many do and it's distracting.

Like fingernails on a blackboard. Sounds extremely shallow to me.

Except that 'my bad' doesn't necessarily mean "I'm sorry", and often doesn't. It's more "my mistake, my goof, oops", etc. without an apology being necessary. It's often used for relatively inconsequential, shrug-and-smile little things.

I don't think that a lot of these words/phrases should actually be 'banished'.  One that somebody mentioned was 'literally'.    Certainly some people use the word inappropriately, but it IS a legitimate word, when used properly.    I vote to keep it.

Nope. it means that someone is trying to deny or muddle what they said previously.
