April's laying down now. It's the first time I've seen her lay down!

3/25 Morning Update

This morning's keeper report is baby has settled down compared to yesterday's continued judo chop marathon. Appetite is consistent, and observed changes from last evening are same as reported prior.

This morning we share with you the Q&A session we did live with Toys R Us yesterday from the giraffe barn. Some repeated content and answers, some new material, and more importantly a look into our team.

We are so happy to be working with Toys"R"Us and further our message and mission to bring April's Journey to you and support Giraffe Conservation!

Thanks @Marp for this morning's update.  It looks as if April is really coming to the end of her pregnancy.

I wonder if Toy"R"Us is coming out with an April and baby toy.

I am pretty sure April will have her baby this weekend.  Can't wait to see the little baby Giraffe.

A little while ago April was licking the camera as if she wanted to say:  come on all you people who are looking at me - at least you can give me a treat.

3/25 Evening Update

April continues to progress but in true April fashion, her upper right teat did not produce milk (It did yesterday) upon veterinary review.
She keeps us guessing - she keeps in growing !!

All else is well and snow appears to have cleared. Tomorrow- keepers will review he yard to deem safe or not - and outdoor activity will begin again.

This photo was snapped by Dr Tim during his visit. Inquisitive April & bold Oliver.

Another fan of April and Oliver!

While waiting for April's cam to come back this evening I decided to check in on Dobby, the small calf which was born at the Denver zoo, this month.

I'm in love 😍

I slept with April last night.  Watched her for some time around 1-2 a.m.-Gee whiz, she really breaks my heart attempting to get down and situated-

She paced a great deal this a.m. and Oliver was very active pacing in his stable-

I was so hoping it would be this week-end for her sake-

Okay, for mine !!!!

She's never, ever, ever going to have that baby!

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
