Today's restaurant choice for lunch with my husband was made because they had WIFI.
The ipad went in with us and I had you tube on while we ate.
April pregnancy watch, year 12.

April must be awefully tired. I have seen her resting 3 times today for quite a while each time. I guess carrying an extra 150 lbs + around must be exhausting.

3/15 Evening Report
What a day! Staff has finally been able to return to their homes, rest their heads, and relax. We return tomorrow to continue to dig out - with a little help from our friends!
April has thankfully, continued to remain in current condition. Vet report today suggests we should begin watching for a shift in calf position/and belly carry from low to back. This would suggest movement into place for birthing.
Tomorrow will be stall cleaning, some shared space time, and another FB LIVE update (at some point) from the property to show just how much snow we have!
We have a park to open in 2 months, and we get 3' of snow! Let me be the first to say "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That" - in the words and delivery of Sweet Brown! (If you don't know Sweet Brown - you should! Google Her)

@Marp Thanks for posting the update. Now it definitely won't be long before April gives birth.
Since there are so many people who have watched for so long, perhaps the birth date of the calf should be declared a legal holiday.

Apparently she had quite a bit of intense activity in the night, around 1:30 AM Eastern time. Tail raised quite a bit, Severe kicking by the calf, April was panting, etc. The park posted about it this morning on their Facebook page and there are hundreds of comments about it from people who were watching the live feed at the time.
They said that this morning though, everything has settled down.

I watched part of the QandA the park had this morning and learned two things.
1- a giraffe has attention span of 14 seconds.
2 - as I've suspected, I AM a giraffe.
