Well, maybe the Georgia Legislature needs to revisit the wording of the law. In fact, that's EXACTLY what the court said.

Someone needs to invent
underwear that will give them the finger from that angle.

Help me get this right. If I should find myself in Georgia {God forbid} and a man or woman or girl or boy shoves a video recording device up my skirt, I have no recourse. I could push the person away but I need to do it gently lest I injure the person who is not committing a crime. Do I understand this correctly?

Oh Mary, you just made me howl.

Just to make you cringe some more, GMA tried to explain it this morning and because it didn't happen in a private place the justices said law doesn't apply. Say what?
Last I checked, my private area was private no matter where I'm walking.
Half this country gets up in arms when a woman breastfeeds in public but have a stranger actually go up under her clothes to take a peek and that's okay with the GA legal system.
Our whole appeals court belongs on Jerry Springer.

My son's family have friends whose 18 yr old son was recently caught upskirting. My granddaughter (13) said she wasn't shocked because he always gave her the creeps. I told her she had good instincts and to always listen to what her gut tells her. I'm not sure what the law is like in our state but I hope he gets some serious help because I don't honestly think jail time without psychiatric intervention is the answer.

In some countries they would blind him as a punishment......an eye for an eye.
