I actually really love the color of unplated white gold @Sweetbay magnolia!  It has a candle lit look to it and almost an antique-y feel.  Sometimes I like the look of a bright white metal and sometimes I like just a touch more warmth.  Unplated white gold is a great alternative to plated white gold, yellow gold, and even rose gold (me thinks, anyway).  Nice to have options!

I think you are right, @AliJoi5.  I will let these wedding bands "weather".  And enjoy them next to my sterling pieces.  That was a nice perspective.
