Proof - how are you liking it so far?

I'm not liking it as much as the first episode.  I think Jennifer Beals' character is abrasive.  How are you liking this show so far?

I'm liking it ok so far. I think Jennifer Beals character is supposed to be a bit abrasive.  It's a surgeon thing, LOL

I'm willing to give it a few more episodes.

I'm watching it but am not loving it that much. I agree Jennifer Beal's character is abrasive. I miss Covert Affairs (not coming back) and Haven (hope it does).

I like Proof so far. I'm a fan of several cast members and I like the story.

I also miss Covert Affairs! Haven should be coming back sometime this year. No date has been set, but we may see it in the fall.

Thanks for the reminder betteb.  I like this show.  I've read a lot of books about it.  I've met people who were able to go into places they've never been and know exactly where things are located.

I've met a few really interesting people and read a lot about it.

I really enjoyed the most recent episode with the guy who shot and killed the police officer. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm really liking it ......  since surgeons tend to have less personality than other specialists,  (this was a study),   this is an accurate representation ..... a divorced professional mom who lost a teenager a year ago wouldn't be all that warm and fuzzy, anyway.

Re: Proof - how are you liking it so far?

OK, I'm not busting on ALL surgeons just my daughter's father-in-law.  He's a wonderful kind man but has as much personality as a wet noodle.

The first time I met him was when my daughter was in the hospital.  She has crohns disease,  She was in immense pain.  He walks into her room.  She was out of it.  I'd never met him.  Basically it was the two of us.  Now I'm overly (OK annoyingly) outgoing.....but....I sat there with him, saying very few words......as he was the most pensive man I've eVER met (and that's saying a lot).

On the other hand the surgeon who took out my thyroid had a lot of personality.  She'd been to Afghanistan to operate on the US soldiers, so maybe that's why.

On the whole, I'd say most of them are very 'detached' from their patients.  She plays the role well.  I think (my opinion) they are more egotistical than most Drs.
