Can anyone suggest a good biography about General MacArthur? I've been watching a movie about WWII and he features largely in it, and I'd like to know more.

TIA!

Don't have a recommendation but DH is a big history buff especially of WW2.  When he was a kid he went to the parade that welcomed back MacArthur and he was hubby's hero.

Then as an adult he read many books on WW2--not any specific bio--and his opinion radically changed.  No longer thinks he's the great man he once did.

I'm sure there are many bios on him.  You will learn a lot.
