I will not even start to read books that have too many in a series.

 

The reason is, I read too fast.  I can usually read the whole book in a day or two and then I need to buy another book.   It gets too expensive to do this, but if I really like what I am reading, I can't help myself.  I also spend too much time reading and don't get anything else done.  I get too impatient waiting for a new book to come out too.

 

I prefer to read a small series with 3 to 4 books in them.  That way I can finish them quickly and get other things done.

 

I am a big fan of Elizabeth Hunter for this reason.
