Nope.   The minute James Patterson started doing that, I stopped reading his books.   Not interested in reading some no name fill in an outline for the famous author and then tweeking it.  Publishers pressure or not.

I've read most of the Preston and Child books and like them a lot. I've also read most of the books they wrote alone. Two authors wouldn't stop me from giving a book a try.

Loved Lisa Lutz with David Hayward in "How To Start A Fire"  The interaction between the two of them after each writing their own chapters was as good as the story line.

It doesn't matter to me. If the story is good or the subject is interests me why should it matter if it was a collaboration? jmo
