Which books are you drawn to when you are looking for a pause from the books you normally seek out?
I like to get lost in historical fiction tales which feature dukes and the ladies they pursue.

I like your books about romance with Dukes, but when I want a complete change of pace I go for humor. Chelsea Handler, Kathy Griffin, Sara Colonna and Andy
Cohen to mention a few. Sometimes you just want to laugh.

I find tales about dukes and their ladies to be laugh-out-loud funny!

On occasion I like to turn to nonfiction books. At the present time I have two on hold at the library:
Victoria: The Heart and Mind of a Young Queen by Helen Rappaport (PBS series tie in)
and
The Little Book of Hygge: Danish Secrets to Happy Living by Meik Wiking

I alternate between steampunk, fantasy, historical fiction, classic literature with a little alternative history.
