Unmistakably Judith October

Hello Friends,

The faster pace of autumn began early for me at the start of September, with the excitement of my company’s listing on the NASDAQ stock exchange. As part of this process, we were invited to ring the closing bell at the NASDAQ in their Times Square headquarters, which was truly an experience of a lifetime. The live video of the closing bell ceremony was broadcast not only on CNN and financial news TV stations but also outside of the NASDAQ on their jumbotron, making me seven stories tall for all of Times Square to see! I am grateful for my partnership with Xcel Brands and how it has helped advance and grow the brand I built and am still so proud to design and lead. We finished the afternoon celebration with a festive champagne toast— it was such a joyful day for Xcel Brands and all our friends and partners there.

This month, when selecting my Unmistakably Judith design to share with all of you, I wanted to call attention to a piece that is as elegant and gorgeous as the fall colors we’ll soon see. My Cushion Cut Doublet Ring from my Arabella Collection is a favorite of mine because its beautiful gemstone facets look spectacularly deep and luxurious in the rich hues of green goddess and blue hematite doublets – almost like blue sapphire and emeralds. These jewel tones are key for fall, of course.  My Arabella Collection includes a pair of Cushion Cut Gemstone Doublet Earrings which move gracefully on the ear and are absolutely signature for me.

During these cooler months my wardrobe can often take on a darker hue, and jewelry gives me a wonderful way to add a pop of pretty color. These pieces can instantly enhance and elevate any outfit, but would look particularly chic when worn with lace and the detailed embroidery that has been seen all over fall runways. Green goddess and blue hematite will complement your fall wardrobe with their rich and regal gemstone color.  Perhaps you will have more luck than I will in choosing your favorite shade – whichever you choose I hope you wear them with joy.
