The 'Tail' of the Little Dog and the Cone of Shame!

Two weeks ago I posted on my Facebook page some photos of Hero, our very energetic Springer spaniel who had badly hurt his paw. He was forced to rest, and had to wear the 'cone of shame' to help his recovery.

I received many kind messages wishing Hero well, and  several with useful tips- including using an inflatable collar to prevent him getting at his paw. However, Hero is a bit of a Houdini and found a way to wriggle around the cone and he managed to puncture the inflatable version - so he has been made to wear a new ' super-sized' cone for another week.

At least the new cone is semi-transparent; so he can look around and get a good view - and I allowed him to watch Ireland playing in the Rugby World cup!! The good news is that his paw is now recovered and in a day or two he will get his freedom back!

The weather has been lovely in Ireland this month, so we will get a chance to go for 'walkies' in the Dublin foothills . And finally, Check out CONNEMARA MARBLE to see the latest deals and special offers.

Take care,
