I remember walking home from grade school, and passing by the dogwood tree in our front yard.  My Dad had planted crocuses in the bed around the tree, and when those little green shoots pushed up from the ground I knew spring was almost here!  My Mom had her rites of spring too, she set great store on seeing the first robin of the season. (I've seen mine already!)  On Friday March 11th, from 3 to 5pm eastern time, we will have a Gemstone Expression show that is as spring-like as flowers and robins!  One organic gem that comes alive in spring and summer is mother of pearl.  We have a new carved pendant planned for the show I think you will love.  The nice thing about "MOP" is that you can get a big look for an affordable price.  And, it wouldn't be spring without turquoise, so look for pieces in this vibrant gem.  Since pink is such a hot color in fashion, turquoise jewelry is a must this month since it looks great with all shades of pink.  (In fact, we are planning a Denim and Co. hour right after Gemstone Expressions so you can stock up on clothes to go with your new gems!)  The highlight of our show is the appearance of Renee Greenstein (love her!) and her Glass Half Full pendant. You loved  it when she brought in matching earrings, so this time she will bring a new matching ring. See you Friday the 11th!
