This week on Styled Out, it was all about the benjamins (baby). Prior to the show, Sandra posed the question on facebook: "If I gave you $100 to shop for anything you want, what would you treat yourself to?".  You all were poised and ready with great answers. Several of you mentioned treating yourself to items from brands such as Dennis Basso, Josie Maran, or Dooney - but the overwhelmingly popular answer was Isaac Mizrahi. So since I am a kind and generous live blogger, this week's recap has a TON of great pieces from Isaac. Also, not done yet - several of them are under $100.00. No Splurging needed.

BOOTS: Marc FisherCARDIGAN: Kelly By Clinton Kelly I BLOUSE: Kelly by Clinton Kelly

It's all in the details. A cardigan and blouse sounds a little ho-hum. This is anything but. The cardigan features beautiful suede detailing that adds a luxe twist to an old favorite, and the blouse? That pattern? Forget about it. There is nothing boring about this look whatsoever. Add a little bit of rocker edge with some over the knee boots and you have a killer look. Appropriate for the office or NY Fashion Week.

[PS and by the way, both the cardigan and the blouse are under that $100.00 price point. Great pieces for your wardrobe at a reasonable price]

It's understandable why you all would immediatley splurge on items from Isaac Mizrahi. The man obviously knows what he's doing.  Effortlessly chic is the perfect way to describe this look. Deanna hits on several Fall favorites ( the ankle boots, a perfect floral scarf)  but keeps it fun and flirty with an A-line dress. A perfect starter piece that will lend itself beautifully a ton of different looks through countless seasons.

[Also, the dress and the scarf TOGETHER are both still under $100.00.  Two versatile pieces for your wardrobe that don't break the bank? Don't hate it ]

Speaking of Isaac Mizrahi, Jacqui Stafford took some time out of her hectic schedule to swing by Styled Out. A Best selling author and fashion guru, I definately had to get the low down from Jacqui on how she always looks so great. She summed up her philosophy quickly but perfectly: you have to know your body shpae and dress for it. Trends will come and go but dressing correctly for your shape using classic pieces will always keep you on trend and on point.

Mentioned these boots earlier when I was breaking down Adrienne's look this week. But they deserve some in depth discussion. While ankle boots are everywhere this fall, a great tall boot will always have a place in my heart.  Now, over the knee boots are tricky. Some have written them off as a piece meant for the young, but they haven't seen these boots from Marc Fisher. with an elegant silhouetteand gorgeous leather detailing - this is not your daughters over the knee boot. Cara Kahn suggested pairing this with a great pair of leggings and an oversized button down. A high fashion look that will have you rocking whatever room you walk into.

When picking out pieces for your wadrobe, it's always important to balance splurge vs. steal. Always consider the cost per wear. As always, it was great talking fashion during Styled Out.

As we head into holiday party season, we'll try to always have some great looks during Styled Out to keep you looking sharp even as things get busy.

Until next week!
