PM Style Blog - Christmas In July ...... er, August!

Time for another installment of, "What I've Been Shopping For On The Q"...and since we've been celebrating 'Christmas in July', it's admittedly an ode to all things holiday. Here's a list of my top ten most recent purchases (ps: Joe is so perplexed by the number of Q boxes that keep arriving at our house, he's convinced I have a spending problem and open one boxed to verify they're mostly for Christmas shopping. Husbands. Buh! It just makes it easier for me if I get in there early and shop on line ..... no parking, no lines, no hassle.

#10 - Star Wars talking plush toys.

They are hysterical. I couldn't decide so I bought all three. A trilogy for my 6yr old nephew, Tripp. May the force be with him .... and also with you!

#9 E.D. On Air s/2 Lit Marquee Stars

I got red and natural. They are awesome quality and they are going on my mantle the minute the slightest whiff of cold Fall air hits. I love stars. Perhaps because I wish on many.

#8 - S/2 Levi-copters

I have a dad, a brother, and a nephew. Young or old, there is something about dudes and things that fly. And normally they are cheap and in my case, break after the first air lift (or when 6yr old Tripp wields a playful heavy hand). I just sold these though, they rule. The wings are soft silicone-y plastic so no amount of crash and burn seems to phase them. And they levitate based on sensors that detect your hand or the floor. #coolbeans

#7 - M115310 Cheryl's holiday cookies

Ordered two boxes. Joe likes them frozen. They are a staple in our house from October on.

#6 M1116 Mama Mancini's Florentine Stuffed Chicken Meatballs

Because I don't cook. Because chicken meatballs sound healthy. Because chicken meatballs stuffed with cheese sound heavenly. And because I've had the "not stuffed" ones and they r delicious. Pop em in a crockpot on counter and in an hour it's chow time. You will love them - whoever is breaking bread with you will love them!

#5 Hallmark Angel Necklace

Last week I hosted a debut hour with Hallmark on QVC and I couldn't take my eyes aways from their angel necklace. I def have a few angels in my life, so there ya go - easy, peasy, lemon cheesy!

#4 - Hallmark recordable storybook "Twas the night before Christmas"

One guess. Yup. Going to Tripp. Haven't decided yet if my mom (candy cane nana) or me (auntie shawn) will do the recording.

#3 - Bethany Mota Gnome Sweater

Sold this in PMS last week when everything we had was on clearance. It was $13. It's for me. It's adorable and sparkly. It also runs small so I ordered 2 sizes up bc I want it baggy - large. Who doesn't love a gnome (I enjoy pronouncing the silent G)

#2 - Dynatrap

An early Christmas gift to my pal Laurie in Michigan. Because she lives on a lake in our hometown. And because nighttime drinks on her back patio recently was like a scene from a national geographic documentary. Aka, "Human Bug Swarm". (I may be slightly embellishing, but still...)

#1 - LazyBoy Maverick Recliner, cocoa power

An early Christmas for my Pop Pop who is recovering from surgery and needed a comfortable chair in his family room that cradled and hugged his achy body. He falls asleep in it every day. I mean, everyyyyy. Thank you LazyBoy!
