September= FASHION!

There’s one particular month in the year that is a MAJOR one for the fashion industry, take a guess…. it’s September!!! Such a hectic time, season’s changing, kids heading back to school, the days start getting shorter and a whole new fashion season is introduced.

 

For stylists, editors, models, this is ultimate crunch time, we start in NYC then head off to London, Milan and finally ending the whirlwind fashion month in Paris, preparing these epic September issues with hundreds upon hundreds of fashion shows, busy bees indeed!

Behind the scenes from Paris Fashion Week

 

I’ve spent a good part of my life behind the scenes styling these runway shows. Those 10-15 minutes requires months and months of preparation along with teams of people to create all those magical runway moments. In a way, our team does this similar run of show every time we bring you a LOGO show. From pre-fittings and show rehearsals to makeup and hair tests, there are SO many different prep tasks to check off. Each look and all the accessories are picked specifically and assigned to the models and then VOILA: LOGO showtime! Just another way we bring my high fashion background and New York fashion life to share with you all at QVC.
