It's officially Labor Day weekend and we are sad to see such a wonderful summer come to an end! It was a season jam-packed with great adventures with my family so I thought I would highlight some of my favorites and share with you!

Our first big adventure was our family trip to China..

Throughout the summer we made a couple of visits to one of our favorite places, Springton Manor. It's a county park/farm. It's never crowded and Farmer Jim always lets her feed the animals. It's our "happy place" and is free to visit. Perfect.

Another highlight from the summer was my youngest daughter's Star Wars themed birthday party.

We made a couple of day trips to the beach...

Last week we had our anual Girls Camping Weekend..

Our latest day adventure was to the Franklin Institute to see the Lego exhibit. Nathan Sawaya recreates famous works of art out of Lego, but my favorites were his original concept pieces, including the yellow man and portraits of his partner. Incredible!

Last but not least a major milestone went down this summer as my youngest daughter is officially riding her bike with no training wheels!
