Reuben Mac and Cheese Recipe

Yield: 12 servings

Prep Time: 45 minutes

Cook Time: 60-65 minutes

Baker used - 2 quart Dragonfly baker

 

Reuben Mac and Cheese

 

 

Ingredients

6 cups dry cavatappi pasta

2 cups grated swiss cheese

4 cups store bought cream sauce (béchamel)

7 ounces thinly sliced deli corned beef

2 cups sauerkraut, drained

1 cup thousand island dressing

½ teaspoon black pepper

4 slices rye bread, cubed

3 tablespoons melted butter

 

                         

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

 

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water until cool.
  2. Roughly chop the thinly sliced corned beef.
  3. Combine the chopped corned beef, cream sauce, drained sauerkraut, cheese, black pepper and the dressing in a large bowl. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce mixture and toss well. Put into your Temptations 2 quart Dragonfly baker.
  5. Toss the cubed bread with the melted butter
  6. Bake in the preheated 350 degree oven for 60-65 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the cubed bread in nicely browned
