Hello Foodies...

Some of you may remember a video posted from Proper Tasty on my Facebook Page a couple weeks ago. Well, I thought it was too delicious NOT to try! I ended up making this for dinner last week and let me just say - it is easy!

The original recipe used for inspiration can be found here. I've also listed out the recipe below, along with my notes on what I used.

Ravioli Lasagna Recipe from Proper Tasty:

Ingredients

1 jar of Bolognese sauce (I used a store bough meat sauce)

1 package of pre-made ravioli ( I could only find frozen, but I let them thaw for about 20 mins)

8oz. of shredded cheese (I used a blend of mozzarella and parmesan)

Seasoning (I used Rachael Ray's Italian Seasoning Grinder)

*Depending on what size baking dish you use, you can increase/decrease the ingredients as needed. You should have a 1:1 ratio of ravioli to bolognese sauce. And I like mine EXTRA cheesy, so I added a bit more than the recipe calls for!

Method:
1. Cover the base of a deep dish baking tray with a layer of ravioli.
2. Cover this with a thin layer of bolognese sauce, use the back of a spoon to spread it around evenly.
3. Sprinkle a thin layer of grated cheddar over the bolognese sauce.
4. Put down another layer of ravioli, followed by another layer of bolognese sauce.
5. Cover all of this with a generous topping of more grated cheese.
6. Cover the tray with tin foil and bake in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 35 mins. 200°C/400°F Gas Mark 6.
7. Remove the tin foil and bake for a further 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese on top has melted and browned a bit.
8. Serve it up!
