Quacker Factory Tee Party

We had our first Holiday Quacker Factory Tee Party earlier this season, and of course, we drank 'tea' while wearing our 'tees'! Angel Smedley and Patrick Hoy and the models were all in attendance!

When Jeanne Bice, the founder of this clothing collection, and I had worked together for 17 years, she somehow found out that I collect teacups and saucers. Jeanne said one day she was cleaning out her mother's collectibles, and wanted to give me 3 of her mom's teacups!  I was stunned and so grateful!

 

I put them in my curio cabinet with the rest of my collection. About a year later, I got that awful call one evening that Jeanne had passed away that day. I was heartbroken!

 

Minutes later I was walking by the curio and I glanced in and my eyes went right to one of the cups that Jeanne gave me that says, "Think of Me". I felt that Jeanne had left a part of her heart for me!! It's one of those precious moments I'll never forget!

So for our recent 'tee' party, I brought in the 3 cups that Jeanne gave me. Two have saucers, and the most special one doesn't.

I told the story on air, and, while I was telling it, I didn't even realize I had clasped my hands in prayer.

We all got a little emotional on the air... I'm sure you can understand.

But, in case you missed that show, I felt it was important to do this blog so that now everyone can know the story of Jeanne's teacups!  Precious memories and treasures!
