This week's PM STYLE blog takes us to NYC. And the U2 concert. Hashtag, awesome! I'm not a music-concert-band groupie. I listen to Howard Stern and news talk radio when I drive. I've never used music to punctuate my life. I enjoy silence actually. Actually a lot. That's not to say a great song turned up really high, doesn't give me goose bumps. I digress.

Joe my husband lives for music. He plays guitar. He inhales playlists and loves movies and docu series about bands and artists. So he suggested we go see U2 at Madison square garden this past weekend. I was all, "yeah sure {feigning interest}". Really just staying in a great hotel and breathing in the concrete jungle is enough to jazz me. So we hop in the car and head out.

We stayed in midtown, with a rooftop view #TDF (to die for)

Had sushi and sips at Rue 57, an old haunt of mine from when I used to work at CBS News right down the street...

Time to hop a cab to concert. Oh look, Saks Fifth Avenue. My dear old friend, you're looking well...

We arrive MSG (Madison Square Garden). Concert starts. I fall in love. With Bono. $49 binoculars are God Send. I can see the sweat on his brow. Awesome concert.

Next morning, egg bagel sandwiches from this place before we shove off...

And now I have decided in my next life, I want to come back as a rock star. The end.
