PM Style Blog - Live from NYC

Day: Sunday 

Time: 3p-ish

 

 

So we are slowly getting ready for our "Live from NYC”, PM Style show which is on Monday Feb.15th at 9pET (I think that’s the right time) and it's a big deal because that week is NY Fashion Week so the town will be buzzing with designers and fashionistas.

 

Amy Stran and I are headed to the big apple a day early to attend one of the runway shows and go through a couple dry runs with hair and makeup gurus Eve pearl and Orlando Pita. Still, today, Lauren one of my stylists at QVC, came over to play a little to help me find a special, amp-ed up look for the big night….which is tough because when you have short hair, cool updo’s are out, so you need to find other ways to totally change up your look and mojo. The reigning thought: lips!

Burgundy or hot pink? Instagram was all up in my grill with opinions, most voted for the burgundy ... which was bummer-dot-com because I was actually leaning towards the hot pink…

Laura Geller has a fantabulouso new foundation called Double Take Baked which I’m currently obsessed with (it’s best used wet and then it sets dry; it was in her last TSV and will be for sale individually in April I think)) so I’ll be wearing that, plus I’m loving a new mineral concealer (because I hate goopy cream concealers) called ColorScience. Highly recommend you try. Lip will probably come courtesy of my fav lip brand, M.A.C., and eyeliner will most assuredly be cream gel in a pot, thanks to Bobbi Brown or IT Cosmetics. Plus, we are using a combination of Mally, Kat Von D.and M.A.C. palettes to achieve a chic look….

Outfit, don’t ask. No idea what’s in the show or what I’ll be wearing yet. I am however going to rock some killer shoes because I’m all about shoes in the last year. Crazy because I never used to be, and my feet are still temperamental, but I endure the pain for the pretty. Smiley Happy 

 

So my friends, back to my big decision.
