My favorite shoe closet… (well, I guess now it’s a shoe closet!)

When I first started with QVC, we did a shoot inside my shoe closet. A closet I am very proud of…one that took years to fill!

But when I joined G.I.L.I. 3 months ago, I decided that the brand that is now my go-to in apparel, accessories & footwear, needed its own special place.

 

Here is where the random part of this story begins. I live in a Manhattan apartment & although it is a nice size, the closets are small. The people who lived in the apartment, prior to me, were huge wine lovers. They built a beautiful wine cellar into the wall with a pull-out thin closet for wine boxes next to it.  (My personal favorite wine is Kathie Lee Gifford’s Gifft , of course!)

When I was rearranging my shoe closet to make room for my spectacular G.I.L.I. collection (and I didn’t have a space to spare) I had a thought……?

What about combining shoes and wine ! Voila! I transformed the wine shelves into the ultimate home for my favorite footwear ! Avery, Whitney, Hildie, Preston & Sandie seem very happy here, right?
