My Inspiration For Connemara Marble Pieces: The Book of Kells

by on ‎09-01-2012 01:08 AM

The Trinity College Dublin is where the famous Book of Kells is kept and is on view to the public.

The pages are turned regularly, so I will often visit to get inspiration for jewellery pieces from the beautiful and complex Knotwork designs and Celtic themes.

It’s wonderful to think that this hand-drawn manuscript is over 1200 years old, and the pages are still as fresh and vibrant as they day they were created.
