Roasted Figs with Vanilla
Ingredients
Serves 2
8 black figs
3 Tbsp butter
1 vanilla bean, cut into 8 pieces
2 tsp sugar
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice off the top of the figs, then make an "X" incision into each fig and place a piece of the vanilla bean inside the fig.
Melt the butter and sugar in a baking dish. Place the figs in the dish, side by side. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve the figs hot with a scoop of ice cream on top.
