I get SO many questions about my hair and how I style it that I thought I'd give you all a step-by-step complete with pictures! It coudn't be easier and I just have a few go-to styling tools that are essentail to making it look JUST right. I don't even need to go to the QVC salon to have it done... I can easily do it by myself in the dressing room! Low-maintaince and just my style. I hope this helps for anyone who has a similar 'do!

There are a few products and tools that are just essential: The 1" Calista Perfecter (The MOST important part of the routine!), the 1" Caj, the GHD Straightener, Bed Head TIGI Hair Stick, Nick Chavez Thirst Quencher Hairspray and Nick Chavez Starlet Shine Spray. 

First I wash and towel dry my hair:

Next, I dry my hair using the Caj Beauty 3-in-1 Volumizing Dryer Brush. I curl vaious pieces backwards and brush down the sides to my head. This tool gives lift and drys my hair very quickly!

Next, I heat up my 1" Calista Perfecter and start curling upwards in various directions... starting at the front center to create what I like to call my "rooster!" The Calista is the most important step because it gives large waves, and smoothes out any strays from the drying process. No need to hold the Perfecter too long, just keep it moving and rolling to perfect the curls. 

Next, I put about a dime-sized dollop of Bed Head TIGI Hair Stick into my hands and start rubbing (you'll likely need more than you think, but start out with this much!). Piece it throughout your hair to define and give texture to the curls.

Next, I go to my GHD (Good Hair Day) Sraightener and just run it over the ends of some of the curls. This makes it even more piecy looking, more of a defined curl instead of soft curls. 

Now for more product! I spray on my favorite hairspray, the Nick Chavez Thirst Quencher Hydrating Hairspray with Argan Oil (medium hold). Then lastly, I go nuts with the Nick Chavez Starlet Shine Spray to make it look just they way I like! 

Then, viola! I have a hairstyle that I love and doesn't take much time to maintain! Every few weeks I see Maria McCool from Calista Tools to give me a trim and it keep it looking fresh.
