Merry Christmas!

Well, yes, I know it’s July. And, I know we’ve got months to go before the holiday season officially kicks off. But my ED On Air Christmas in July collection launches Thursday with some great items to help you get a jump on decking your halls. Well, not just your halls. Your living room. Or your dining room. Or any room in your home, really.

One of the big inspirations behind this Christmas in July collection is my love of nature. Take a look, and you’ll find lots of nature-themed items, as well as items crafted from natural materials, like wood. There are even fresh wreaths and garlands—and boy, let me tell you, there’s nothing like the smell of real pine. It puts the smell of those air fresheners hanging in your car to shame. It really does!

Another thing that inspired this collection is my interest in vintage things. I love to go antiquing, and I’m really attracted to things that look like they have a story behind them. So, my team and I really tried to capture that spirit of nostalgia by giving some of these Christmas in July items a vintage look. After all, the holiday season is a time when people like to look back on the past. Although, when I look back on the past, I like to skip the 80s. Nobody needs to look back on the big hair and the big shoulder pads, right? I mean, seriously, what were we thinking?

Oh—and before I go, I want to let you know that I’ll be taking a little hiatus while my team and I work on some fun new ideas for ED On Air. But while I’m gone, my friend and on-air representative, Taniya, will be writing her own blog. Be sure to check back weekly throughout July. She’s putting together some great ideas for decorating with the ED On Air Christmas in July collection. In fact, she’s making a list, and she’s checking it twice… or is that somebody else?
