I have always loved QVC, my dream was to one day be a designer on the show. How that was going to happen I didn't know, all I know is I just had this burning desire.

Today my dream is a blessed reality, I am so overjoyed to share with you the inspiration behind my Jewlery, as well as my passion, my philosophy and my love for beauty.

I was born and raised in London England in the early 60's from very early on school and learning was very hard for me,as a dyslexic child we are often labeled as stupid believing this can take its toll on your self esteem and self worth, more often then not the word "I can't" was frequently spoken... it took me until I was forty to final see and know the gifts I had buried inside of me. At 40 years old I had an awakening, I had a dream, a very vivid dream, in it I was told to go and meditate in Italy.. And Just like that I did!! Wow ! to this day I still ask myself how did you know to go Tia? I laugh at how this all happened, it feels as if sometimes I'm looking outside of myself watching my life as a movie. Truly trusting in this was such a strong leap of faith for me, but I did trust the message in that dream and I went...And my life changed forever. The blessings and gifts I received whilst walking in silence for 10 days in Assisi Italy brought me to feel and know inner peace that to this day I totally live by. One day whilst walking in a valley I saw lying under a bush an old paintbrush next to it was a lid with a T on it. I knew then God was talking to me, quite what it was about I didn't know, but I picked up the brush and the lid. A few days later I returned to London I went back into life very changed more at peace, more aware of the limitless possibilities that we can experience everyday, as I had in those past ten days....

Ever so often though I would ask myself " why did I find that paintbrush? And one day the answer came!

My business partner called one day to tell me a client needed 9 paintings made for her new home, at that time I was an Interior designer, this request was not a regularly occurrence as we were more textile manufacturers. She started to tell me what the client wanted, in my mind I am working on who we could find to make these. In her mind it was ME!!!! So of course when she shared her thought I asked her if she had been drinking, ME.. " Never" I said "I can't do it" Bingo!!! all my old beliefs about not be good enough or capable came flooding back. This time though she wasn't taking no for an answer. AND SO THE ARTIST WAS FINALLY AWAKENED. 

That was 12 years ago. Today I feel so blessed that everyday I get live my passion of creativity, to paint and design jewelry that is created with love, peace, and the many gifts of life.

It is such a gift and honor to see my art hanging in private and public places around the world. In 2012 I was voted top ten artist in one of the most prestigious art shows in New York and later that year I was commissioned to paint 4 paintings for world peace that National Geographic recorded. Today I pour the same passion and love into my Jewelry designing I am in love with all my designs, I see them as a talisman created as a reminder that life can be beautiful and peace is within us. We are the masters of our lives and by knowing it we share it with LOVE. I invite you to be part of my journey as I hope you will invite me to become part of yours.. I know that it is not always easy ride, I but at 40 I learnt I had a choice to live it with the way I choose it to be with peace in my soul. In every piece that I design my desire is for you to know that you are Beautiful, that life is waiting for you everyday to show up and be part of it. That the choices we make are so much more rewarding when we base them on positivity and not on negativity! That life is a grand old love affair to be lived everyday.

Today I invite you to spend time in one of my favorites places in nature, Morikami Museum and Japanese gardens, this is where I go to for inspiration, and where I sat for hours in my imagination creating for QVC the YinYang collection by LuvTia.
