How to Decorate a Flocked Tree & What to Munch on While You "Work"

Hi, everyone!

Before you run out to buy a fresh-cut tree this year—or you tszuj up that artificial tree that’s been in the basement for at least 10 years—might I suggest an upgrade. A big, beautiful, white upgrade.

And because you can’t decorate a tree without having a festive snack, here’s one of my favorite—and one of the easiest—recipes.

Caramel Fruit & Nut Topping

Yields 2 Cups

This recipe is prepared with the BergHOFF 10" Zeno Mixing Bowl (K300210).

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or craisins
  • 1/2 cup whole pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried apple slices
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping

Preparation:

  1. Combine the dried cranberries, pecans, and dried apple slices in a mixing bowl. Pour in the caramel topping and stir to coat. Store for later use.

I usually put this on top of brie, as the photo shows. But fruit and nuts go with anything…try it on other cheeses, ice cream, yogurt, pies, cinnamon buns…anything you want!

XOXO,
