Fashion Day Recovery, Homecoming Preparations, and Shopping with Girlfriends…

by on ‎10-03-2012 01:15 AM

Hello my fellow LCNY fashionistas. Have you recovered from Fashion Day? It was great. My only problem was that I was working too much to be able to sit back, relax, and place orders. Oh well. We would not be happy if there was a Fashion Day without LCNY, so there is the dilemma. Most importantly, I hope you were able to see the must-haves and pick up a few new things.

That being said, you know what happens on Wednesday mornings at 9 AM: a full hour of LCNY fashions with myself and MBR. It has become the middle of the week, half time for us. We know that no matter how the week is going, we get to spend a full hour with you, my friend, to shop, have some girl talk, and to just breathe. Sometimes that is what is needed in the middle of the week – a get-together with friends for an hour and dedicate that to yourself.

My week has been so hectic with work and having a junior in high school. He finally asked a girl to homecoming. P.S. – He did it with flowers, a card, and a smiley face balloon. Who could refuse? Right!!! Trust me, I was holding my breath. We tried on pants, shoes, and shirts at home last night. Nothing fits. Are you surprised? So now we need to find a couple of hours to rope in the soccer-playing, “I do not like the mall” TEENAGER to find clothes. I do believe my girls were easier. Sooo…if you have had a teenage boy going to homecoming, share your stories and help me through this. My oldest was very easy-going.

Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday in our LCNY world...our time with friends.

Keep smiling.
