Fall is for Family Festivities & Reflection

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. The weather is starting to cool down allowing us to layer all our cute sweaters, jackets and scarves. But there’s something more to fall than pumpkin spice lattes and hayrides… it’s time to start winding down and spend time with family and friends as the holidays approach. And of course you want to look your best!

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to celebrate my brother Joel’s birthday in Los Angeles. After my Thursday 9am show I hopped in the car and went directly to the airport. Some of you may have heard me mention on air that I was going to wear my Sweater Knit Open Front Cardigan with Sequins (A228073) on the plane… and that is exactly what I did! I was perfectly comfortable on the long flight from the East to West coast. This fabric is amazing. It feels like light weight cashmere that keeps you warm, but also breathes so you never feel hot. After sitting on the plane for what seemed like forever, we finally arrived at LAX. This cardigan is truly wrinkle free I was able to hit the ground running, no need to change outfits or freshen up! The beautiful sequin embellishments give that punch to make you feel appropriately dressed up, or down. You can easily wear this to a dinner party or just running errands.

Joel and I had such a great time catching up and I truly am glad I got to spend time with him. Although we live on opposite coasts, we talk often on the phone and when things really get busy we send emails and keep up to date with each other on facebook.
