Hello my fellow LCNY fashionistas. Who let October in the house? I do believe I missed the memo...because I was so enjoying September. 

Well fall is here and it is time to embrace. On this past rainy hurricane weekend I switched over my closets, organized my drawers, aligned my new fall boots and switched the summer foliage to fall.

You must know with a November birthday, I love the fall. I think it is the fashion, colors and the incredible sense of home. I have been missing on my Kevin. He is away at school and the phone calls have become less frequent. I know that is a good sign. He is either studying so much he is too busy to call his favorite MOM or a cutie has caught his eye. All good - this is the evolution of life. 

Well don't you know I get a phone call....."Mom, I thought I would take the train home for a quick visit and dinner". Yes, yes, yes... Now, I am no fool - I do believe the desire to come home was food first, Mom second but I will take his visits any way I can get them!

What a night.  As my young man that left last fall for college chose to start the grill on his own...grill the steaks and even, I dare say, put his dishes in the dishwasher .... I was so proud of who this admirable redhead is becoming. Some how the two of us weathered a storm together and have come out the other side. He said, "Dad would be proud of you Mom....look at all you have accomplished". Right back at you Kevin....you have become a gentleman like your Dad. 

So I say bring on fall, comfort meals, family gatherings, warm fires and of course, my birthday. Join MBR  and yours truly for fun, fashion and girlfriend time tomorrow morning at 9am ET. Grab your cup of joe.....and we'll see you then.
