Decorating for ""Falloween""

by on ‎10-25-2012 12:39 PM

Fall is such an exciting and inviting time of year for me!! I love the colors of the beautiful Pennsylvania foliage and the crisp air of the season. Decorating is always fun, too!

My family and I are not huge lovers of decorating for Halloween, so we tend to decorate more for “Falloween”! We enjoy the look of fall and like to decorate for the entire season in splashes of orange, brown, burgundy and green. I change out the centerpiece on our dining room table to keep it fresh.  Below is our first picture of this season, complete with a combination centerpiece from Bethlehem Lights and Home Reflections.

The kids also love to carve pumpkins and here is a picture of their completed masterpieces next to our mailbox.

I’m not sure what happened to the top of the pumpkin on the left. I just might have to follow Tito around a bit and play detective!

And of course, we roast the seeds after we clean out the pumpkins. Thanks to Betty Crocker and a recent pinning frenzy, I just learned there is more than one way to roast pumpkin seeds. Here is a link to all the different flavors:

I am pretty new to the whole world of Pinterest, but so far, I am having a great time. I am just amazed by all the creativity and time people share with each other!

Do you decorate for Halloween? For Fall?

Counting our blessings,
Mary Beth
