Fresh berries are everywhere right now and that means one thing in my house... Smoothies!! I stocked up my fridge and made this recipe for my hubby and I using my Vitamix blender.
Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
Ingredients: per serving
1/2 cup almond or soy or skim milk
Several ice cubes
One individual size vanilla fat free yogurt
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana
Dash lemon juice
1/4 tablespoon cinnamon
Optional: 1 tablespoon (or scoop) vanilla protein powder
Place all ingredients in your Vitamix and blend until smooth.
