I love this quote from Sarah Horowitz because it sums up everything I want fragrance to be, but at the same time I never know exactly how to chose a fragrance. What should my signature frangrance smell like and what if I have more than one ideal scent? Sarah takes the intimitation out of choosing and makes it fun and even emotionally rewarding. After all, scent does convey of a message about who you are and who you want to be.

Sarah is a master fragrance designer whose formulations have been worn by celebrities and sold at high-end retailers around the globe. With Biography - Scents of Self, she gives us the building blocks for creating our own signuatre scent. You receive four fine frangrances that can be worn alone, layered together, or combined with perfumes you already own.

Biography contains a full size 1 oz bottle of Sarah's signature frangrace, Perfect Veil, along with three different and complementary fragrances. While each frangrace is a finishied frangrace which  is gorgeous on its own, the joy really comes from layering.

Perfect Veil: Your second skin, made with a sparkle of lemon, bergamont, a hint of vanilla and a blend of five different musks.

Scents of Awakening: Your jubilant start, made with a blend of tropical fruits, a touch of ginger, and an anchor of Pacific musk.

Scents of Harmony: Your floral heart, made with a bloom of Hawaiian Gardenia, petals of Stargazer Lily, and a wrap of sheer musk. 

Scents of Passion: Your sensual base, blending warm amber, rich sandalwood, a touch of patchouli, and a swirl of heavenly vanilla. 

This collection allows you to blend your fragrance based on your mood or your activites. For instance, what I wear to the beach is different than what I wear on date night with my husband. You will enjoy creating your own fragrance, but Sarah also has included "recipies" of her favorite blends to test out within the packaging.

I had a meeting this afternoon with the Friday NIght Beauty team and together we blended our own individual scents. It was so fun to see what each person came up with as their own signature fragrance! What is so wonderful about this collection is that there is no bad combination, so you can never go wrong!
