This is a real crowd pleaser! I love this smoothie because it's packed with nutrients, antioxidants and protein. My kids and husband think it's just a tasty milkshake. Either way - the Nutri Ninja makes it super easy to whip up on the fly. This is my own recipe but it's very similar to the Chocolate Almond Fusion recipe found on page 113 in the Nutri Ninja Beyond Blended cookbook.
Ingredients (makes 1, 18 oz serving)
1 small ripe or frozen banana
1/2 cup kale or spinach leaves
1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
1 TB almond butter
5 fresh mint leaves
2 TB cacao nibs (if you can't find cacao nibs, use semisweet chocolate chips)
1/2 cup ice (about 3-4 ice cubes)
