how do you get rid of spots on your hands?

I have some pale spots on the back of my hands that seem to be getting darker. I wear sunscreen on my hands everyday, but I'm still getting them.

I'm just vain enough to not want "old lady hands" . so , any advice on how to make them go away?

I just saw a commercial about a Clinique product to fade facial spots called Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. has anyone used this on hands?
