anesthesia and acne

My 7 year old has really bad acne all over his forehead. This is a first for him. He had surgery last week. So I'm wondering if maybe the anesthesia caused this- like an allergic reaction.

I'm going to call the doctor. BUt was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
