This morning I wanted to try something different with my eyeshadow.  I usually go for very cool-toned or neutral color combinations - purples, greys, neutral brown combos.  So I picked up my burgundy eyeshadow from theBalm that I got in an ipsy bag.  That's not a color I usually go for.  I honestly put it away thinking I probably would never use it.  I put that color in my crease and then picked up a shimmery light brown color from the Cover Girl The Nudes palette and put that all over the eyelid.  Wow.  I really like it!

Amazing what happens when you shake up the old beauty rut isn't it?  I think we all get so busy that we stick with same ole, same ole.  Glad you found something new!

I know, right?  Now I want to wear it everyday.  I wonder what else I'm missing out on thinking it won't work for me?

If you have green eyes, it really pops the color.  8)

It also brings out the green in hazel eyes.
