Does anyone read EWG (environmental working group/cosmetic safety database) recommendations?

I'm 52 with sensitive, combination skin leaning more towards the dry side.

I would love to hear your recommendations for nontoxic facial more stressors with SPF.

I have been very satisfied with Devita Solar Protective SPF+30 . Infact it is an approved and top rated sunscreen on the EWG sunscreen list (rated 1) I love it I have sensitive skin and I am acne prone as well . It has no nano particles or parabens is safe for children and adults , cruelty free and vegan .I have been using it for about 6-7 months and could not be happier . No white cast , it is hydrating without being oily or heavy, makeup goes on great over it . They also have a body version. You can buy it on line at their website . I buy it at Vitacost (better prices)  , but it is sold at  Whole Foods and local health food stores too . Good luck in the search

Unfortunately the facial sunscreen breaks me out

I am sorry I spoke too soon. I love the natural products from Shea Terra  but have not tried one with a sunscreen. My sister likes Burt Bees.

@Dreamchaser - The tint is really, really subtle but perfect. I rarely wear foundation because the tint in Elta kind of evens out my skin as if I'm wearing a light foundation.  I have a light to medium skin tone, but I have two friends who also use it - both with different skin tones. One is uber fair and the other has a deep olive complexion. The Elta looks great on all of us. Seems to blend right into any skin tone perfectly.

Non toxic?   Are you under the impression that most moisturizers and sunscreens are "toxic" ?
