By Terry Baume de Rose lip balm in a glass jar.  I want the holiday gift a huge Baume de Rose lip balm with roses all around it but for $245 NO.  I should have bought a fox fur.

Big beauty item purchases for me this week.  I bought an Aesop skincare kit for combination skin and a serum from them (think it is called Lucent concentrate).    An expensive brand but I am thinking of purchasing shampoo/conditioner from them too.  Also received the Suzanne organic body wash and lotion that was a special at Evine last week.

Tarte Shape Tape concealer comes in a tube with a large doe-foot applicator.  It is a thick creamy concealer.  I have very dark blue discoloration at the inner corner of my eyes next to my nose and I have tried many different concealers.  I just used it this morning for the first time and I like it.  I put moisturizer under it and a peach toned corrector, then the Shape Tape and set with a light dusting of powder.  14 hours later and it still looks good and covers very well. It's definitely a drier concealer, unlike the IT ByeBye Undereye which I found too shiny and sticky.  If you try the Tarte ST, definitely start with a good moisturizer.  Don't ask me what the Shape Tape name means; I have no idea, lol!

My BareMinerals TSV arrived this week but am returning it. The foundation doesn't last on my skin type, the eye-shadow only looks good with other shadow on top of it, and the matte lip I only like with gloss on top. So I have to apply even more and touch up with this kit. The concealer needs touch ups. I don't need the brushes really. I liked the powder & blush, that was about it.

Added to say I received an order of IT Cosmetics CC cream, CC powder, and a makeup brush kit. As the CC cream is a favorite of mine, this is a backup item. The face powder is nice and the medium color is a good shade. The makeup brush is an unknown, the off white bristles look like they would get dirty easily and not wash out well.
