I have been using Wen Volumizing Spray in Mandarin Fig and Bamboo. I dont see it being sold anymore unless its in a big kit. But the regular ones are being sold A277050 but they are in a different looking bottle. Are the formulas the same but just different scents?
Thanks for any help

Hello, I mix regular FIG and BGT VTS together. A while ago Chaz updated his photos, so that might be why they look different to you.
I do not think the formulas have changed, you could call WEN customer service and verify though.
Happy Wenning to you!

No, they look different because she's talking about two different products, the CORE Volumizing Treatment Spray (see the item number she included) and the ones from the Rice based line, which are different.
CORE:
Rice Based Volumizing Treatment Mist:

Thank you for the responses. Besides it being rice based, do the 2 products work the same? (The normal versus fig/bamboo)

Sorry, I thought @Snow Kitten was asking if the formulas were the same (as they were when they came out) or had they been changed.
I know MIF and BGT are different products each with it's own formula.
Thanks for your help with the correct answer.

Sounds like Drythe may know. I've only used the Core formula, not the volumizing spray rice based line. @Drythe, do you have a comparison of the performance?

I've only used the BGT in the rice based, haven't tried the MIF.
The bottle of BGT I had kept clogging up, and it was a little too 'stffning' for my fine hair.
So, I mixed in a 1/2 bottle of the original FIG which I had and liked, and the nozzle stopped cloging up. Combined they give just the right amount of hold to keep my bangs back a bit.
I have no idea why the BGT clogged up the bottle, or why mixing in some FIG fixed it.
Sorry @Snow Kitten I know I'm not answering your question. You might get more information if you post over on the WEN forum.
