I honestly don't know how experts still recommend that Great Lash mascara. That IMO is one of the worst mascaras out there.  It makes my lashes stiff and crunchy and they break and fall out.

I have never had that happen with Great Lash, were you using the waterproof one perhaps? I have had other mascaras do this to me, I stick with 3 mascaras: Lancôme, Merle Norman and Great Lash...occasionally I try something else and in the trash it goes...lol

Edited to add that it has the old-fashioned wand with bristles of the same length, not like the Almay wand pictured above.

Also, elf has very INexpensive mascaras, $1 to $3, I think, which are available in supermarkets and drugstores and fromtheir website and may be worth a try.

Thank you for your recommendations.  I have used other NYC and Elf products but not mascara.  I will give them a try!
