The cut cost $50.00. I tipped $10.00. Is that a nice tip?

You did great! 20% of your bill is perfect! Expensive haircut, though. I hope you're happy with it.

Unless you go to a great clips of the like( no one speaks English...) it is hard to find a decent place in the Seattle area that charges less. My husband only pays $40.00 and my hair is shorter than his! ......I got it cut like Pink's cut, short on sides, longer on top. My hair is white naturally so it looks pretty nice!

Sounds like a great haircut! The prices in your area sound similar to my city, Nashville. My haircuts cost $65 and I know many folks who pay much more. Crazy isn't it? I think a good haircut is worth it, however.

Well, that depends where you live. $50 sounds pretty good to me!

And yes, 20% is appropriate as a tip.

I'm just outside SEA and my haircut is $70 every four weeks, plus roots and/or hi or low lights... I always tip at least 20% and the overall is pricey... Rarely less than $250, plus mani's pedis, waxing, etc!

Yes, 20% is exactly right.

I work at Great Clips and speak very good English (that's all I speak).
