Okay, here's the deal. I have very curly/frizzy hair. I have found a cream/gel styling product that I really like, but it has stuff in it that can build up, plus I use a couple other products that do as well.
I love the IDEA of sulfate-free shampoos, but all the ones I've tried (Pureology Hydrate, Aquage Biomega, Lea Journo, L'Oreal Evercreme) leave my roots sort of greasy. I just don't feel as if my hair is clean or free of residue. I do have a good clarifying shampoo, but I don't want to use that often.
So I'd like to find a shampoo that maybe just has the more gentle sodium laureth sulfate and not the harsher sodium lauryl sulfate or any harsh agents. Preferably, I'd like one with few if any protein-type ingredients, but that's less important.
Anyone have a recommendation for a sulfate shampoo that will clean well but not make my curly/frizzy hair too dry? It can be in any price range.
Time is of the essence. TIA.
