With 75 responses showing I thought I'd add mine here. I am naturally thin and also gained weight from meds. menapause and just not paying attention to what I was eating. I was addicted to carbs and sweets. Last Oct I just got sick of how I was feeling and looking and decided to eat gluten free after reading alot about it. It forced me to stop the cookies and cakes and other sugary high carb things but I found there was plenty of foods left I liked to eat and snack on. If you like pasta just get it wheat free, it tastes the same. Within days my cravings stopped and I lost 20 lbs quickly. My exercise is walking my dog every day. I am still losing weight a bit more slowly but feel healthier and proud of myself. Believe me if I could eat this way and find it hardly a sacrifice then anyone can. The more sugar and high carb foods you eat the more the cravings drive you to feel like you are starving all day! When they diminish it's like you have a new life.
