OT/ Shoe color opinions please

I have a July wedding to go to. I am wearing a deep eggplant colored dress. Should I wear silver or black shoes?

I was going to wear silver but, I can't seem to find a pair of closed toe silver shoes that I like. Your thoughts or comments will be appreciated!

Just a side note...I just don't like my toes showing, that's why I prefer a closed toe.
