OK, I just saw a commercial that (once again) said, "Honey WE'RE pregnant". OK, I'm just curious. How many of you ladies, the ones who have had a child, have used the phrase 'we're pregnant'?
I admit I'm prejudice. I have 3 daughters. I've had several difficult miscarriages. My late husband (even if it had been used back then) knew better than to ever say, "We're pregnant".
That is a stupid thing to say. A man cannot physically get pregnant. Anyone who has ever had a baby knows it is a time in your life where you know that no matter how much your partner (my niece is gay and just had her 2nd baby) loves you, if it is a male, HE cannot have the baby.
I know, I know ladies, this is stupid to get worked up about. However, I'm also wondering what other phrases that are used today that are factually incorrect or maybe they just bother you every time you hear it. Kinda like hearing fingernails across a chalkboard!
