My Review of Bobbi Brown's Long Wear, Even Finish Foundation

I was given samples of two shades of this foundation recently and wore it to work yesterday. Let me first say that I am 48 with normal-oily skin (oily T-zone). I seldom have breakouts. I've been wearing Bobbi's mineral foundation since spring and like it.

I applied the new foundation with Bobbi's foundation brush. It went on smoothly and gave good coverage -- not too light, not too heavy. It looked very natural and I was impressed. I applied a dusting of loose yellow powder in the T-zone.

As the day went on, I had to do my usual noon-time blot. Then, later in the afternoon, I did another blot. My skin felt oilier with this foundation, though the coverage was still good.

I plan to continue using the mineral foundation as long as the weather is warm. During the cooler months, I usually switch to Bobbi's oil-free compact foundation, but may continue with the mineral foundation.

Has anyone else tried this new foundation?
